Unfortunately, the plugin does not actually charge cards. Here’s what happens: You enter card details Stripe creates a PaymentMethod. The plugin fabricates a fake PaymentIntent ID and immediately marks the invoice as Paid. Stripe never records a real charge, and no money is actually collected. API logs confirm that the backend never calls Stripe to create or confirm a PaymentIntent. Effectively, even the paid version behaves just like the free version in this critical aspect. Invoices appear “Paid” when no payment occurred. This is extremely dangerous for any live transactions. Until Propovoice fixes this, do not rely on it for actual payments. Literally no replies to emails, and no ticket system or chat anymore (purchased 8 months ago).
