Product Author for WooCommerce is an open source plugin that allows admin to add Author to Woocommerce Product.
This plugin enables author functionality for Woocommerce Products, Author can be assigned to Woocommerce Product using this plugin.

This plugin is compatible with latest wordpress, latest woocommerce version, PHP 5.6.x, PHP 7.x, PHP 8.x and Gutenberg.

Product Author for WooCommerce now lets you assign user roles as product authors. You can choose which roles are eligible to be added as authors to products. Check out the screenshots for a closer look.

Installasjon

Upload the directory «/wc-product-author/» to your WP plugins directory and activate from the Dashboard of the main blog.
All done, nothing needs to be done now.

Does this plugin support multisite?: Yes, this plugin supports multisite.
Can non-admin users be set as product authors?: Yes, you can assign various user roles—not just admins—as product authors. This feature allows you to select which roles (such as Shop Manager, Editor, or custom roles) are eligible to be linked as authors to products, giving you more flexibility in managing your store’s content.

This plugin is easy to use and works great! If the Author would consider expanding the plugin to be able to assign a different Author using Products > Bulk Edit. I had to go into several products and reassign a new author one by one. Using the Bulk Edit method would save a lot of time.
