Leenkat Profile Avatar Manager allows WordPress users to select and manage custom profile pictures using the built-in WordPress Media Library.
When a custom avatar is selected, the plugin uses it as the user’s profile picture instead of the default Gravatar image. If the custom avatar is removed, WordPress falls back to the default avatar.
The plugin integrates directly with the WordPress user profile screen and uses native WordPress functionality for media selection and profile management.

Installasjon
- Upload the plugin folder to the
/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen. - Activate Leenkat Profile Avatar Manager through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
- Go to Users > Profile.
- Find the Profile Picture section.
- Click Choose Image and select an image from the WordPress Media Library.
- Save the user profile.

Does this plugin replace Gravatar?

When a custom avatar is selected for a user, the plugin uses that image instead of the user’s Gravatar image.
If the custom avatar is removed, WordPress returns to the default avatar behavior.

Can users select their own profile pictures?

Yes. Users who have the required WordPress permissions can select an image using the WordPress Media Library from their profile screen.
