Disable logout confirmation

When a logout link has no security token — a menu item pointing to wp-login.php?action=logout, a cached page, or the WooCommerce «Log out» link in some themes — WordPress shows «You are attempting to log out of… Do you really want to log out?» and WooCommerce shows «Are you sure you want to log out? Confirm and log out». Visitors have to click a second time.

This plugin logs the user out straight away instead.

Works with WordPress logout links (wp-login.php?action=logout).
Works with the WooCommerce My Account «customer-logout» endpoint.
Honors a safe redirect_to parameter on the link, the WooCommerce logout redirect page if one is set, and the standard logout_redirect filter.
No settings, no database tables, no external requests.

Developers can change the destination with the dlc_logout_redirect_url filter.

Installasjon

Install the plugin from Plugins Add New, or upload the disable-logout-confirmation folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
Activate it. That’s all.

Vanlege spm.

Is it safe?: Logging out is the only thing a link without a token can do, and redirects are limited to your own site (and hosts you allow with allowed_redirect_hosts). Links that already carry a valid token are left to WordPress.
Where do users land after logging out?: The redirect_to address on the link if it is safe, otherwise the login screen (WordPress) or the My Account page (WooCommerce).
